Plymouth Area League Final

This year’s competition proved to be very close indeed with several clubs in with a chance as the number of games left became fewer and fewer. In the Cornish half of the competition, China Fleet and Looe were tied on points with one game left and they were playing each other! Nick Horrocks secures sponsorship

Our popular Professional, Nick Horrocks, has obtained sponsorship from two sources for the 2009 season. He will be carrying the name of Gill Akaster, one of Plymouth’s leading firms of solicitors who are based in Lockyer Street, all over the Westcountry as he competes in a full season of PGA tournaments and Pro-Ams.

He is also being sponsored by Cobra and will be using their clubs throughout the campaign. They have helped him to a great start as he has had three top 5 finishes already...
