Ease into the game of golf in a relaxed, no-rules environment. Our Learn to Play Golf Programme is a fun way to walk into the game of golf making new connections and having more fun than you thought possible in a golf setting!
This guide will help you to understand the programme and the opportunities available to you at Plymouth Golf Centre.

What will you learn?
The programme is specifically designed to provide you with the skills, knowledge and experience to become a club and course Ready Golfer and have all the tools you need to make golf a game for life.
Built into the programme is a curriculum of learning opportunities across the following three areas:
Learning the Game Skills
You will develop your experience and knowledge to play the course competently and be in a golf environment with confidence.
Mastering the Game Skills
You will learn and develop your technical skills across the entire game. Skills will be developed within Swing, Around the Green, On the Green and On the Course skill areas.
Whole Golfer Skills
These are skills that will strengthen your ability to become an active golfer and build golf into a healthy lifestyle.
The programme will help you…
Play Competently
You can play on the course socially, competitively and independently with the skill to feel confident being an active golfer.
Play Safely
You can play in social or competitive situations safely and understand the impact you can have on those you are playing with.
Play Quickly
You can play a golf course up to the standardised speed of play and not impact the enjoyment of others

Tuesday 6pm - 7pm
Thursday 7pm - 8pm
Friday 11am - 12pm
Friday 6pm - 7pm
